Media Reports indicate that 30 opposition members of parliament including those in FDC are supporting the presidential candidature of Mbabazi against the official party candidate Dr Kiiza Besigye.

Therefore the Leadership of FDC has instructed its party president Maj Gen Mugisha Muntu to talk with party members allegedly supporting former Prime Minister, John Patrick Amama Mbabazi.

The party spokesperson, Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda says Muntu will also talk to FDC leaders at the lower levels who are currently mobilizing for Mbabazi.

Ssemujju however says some of the accused Mps have denied having any connections with the former Prime Minister.
