Over 13,000 admitted at MUK on private

More than 13,000 students have been admitted to Makerere University on private scheme to study various courses.

According to the list that has been released by the office of the academic registrar, the Β Acting Deputy Registrar in charge of undergraduate admissions Charles Ssentogo said that the university has admitted over 13,000 students and they are slated to start studying on August 12.

Bachelor of Education,Β  Arts, Social Sciences and Business administration has admitted more students compared to other courses with Β Engineering having Β the least.

Ssentogo says that students can pick their admission letters from their respective faculties starting next week on Friday.

Meanwhile, other pu8blic universities already released their admission and all students in those universities are slated to start their studies on 12thΒ  august .
