Everyone is a target of terrorists and must be vigilant.

The caution has been sounded by the deputy speaker Jacob Oulanyah, during the plenary session this afternoon.

Oulanyah has regretted yesterday’s incident where two youths managed to beat security and entered the parliamentary premises with piglets.

He says there was a lapse in security but the House has got assurance from security personnel that all MPs and staff are safe.

Meanwhile, opposition legislators have demanded for the release of two youths arrested for holding a demonstration at Parliament.

Robert Mayanja and Norman Tumuhimbise were arrested yesterday accompanied by two piglets painted in yellow, as they held a protest over government’s failure to curb corruption and unemployment.

Addressing journalists at Parliament today, Shadow Youth Minister, Bernard Atiku and MPs Joseph Ssewungu and Mohammed Kivumbi, say their actions reflect a deeper frustration of Ugandans.
