Opposition Members of Parliament on the Internal Affairs and Defense Committee have condemned a move by some of their colleagues in the ruling party to go to South Sudan.
The team led by the outgoing chairperson Benny Namugwanya is reportedly in South Sudan to assess the security situation.
However Kyadondo East MP, also member of the committee Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda says their trip is illegal and they can not claim to be representing the committee since its membership expired at the end of the last session.
Ssemujju says there was no agreement on such a trip calling his colleagues that have gone to South Sudan masqueraders .
