Opposition leaders have expressed confidence that they will clinch the Busia district seat.
The seat fell vacant after the Court of Appeal disqualified the former LC5 chairman Ouma Adea over abuse of office, with the by election set for January 22nd.
The Leader of Opposition in Parliament, Wafula Oguttu says with the opposition choosing DP’s Deogratius Njoki as their flag bearer for the elections, it will be a sure win for them.
However, the NRM’s newly elected Secretary General; Kasule Lumumba is confident that the NRM party will clinch the seat.
