The 64 year old nurse accused of intentionally infecting a baby with HIV/Aids has been denied bail.
In her bail application, Rose Mary Namubiru had asked that she be released on grounds of advanced age and that she is s that she is an HIV patient.
However, Buganda Road Court Chief Magistrate Olive Kazaarwe has said that there are special programs in prison specifically for caring for people living with HIV
She also said that the gravity of the case should not be over looked by advanced age.
She has thus ordered that Namubiru be taken back to Luzira prison until February 11th when she is expected to return for hearing of the case.
