The recent trend of other media houses casting their nets and fishing from NTV Uganda leaves so many questions unanswered. Just months ago, NBS TV fished Rukh Shana Namuyimba- a celebrated English news anchor, Solomon Serwanja- a reporter and anchor, and Dean Lubowa Sava, also a reporter from NTV.
And as the station was still looking at potential replacements, the new Buganda Kingdom-owned BBS TV also went shopping at NTV Uganda.
BBS TV returned with a huge smile after acquiring the signature of Akawungezi news anchor and Tuwaye host Frank Walusimbi. We have since learnt that Walusimbi will be heading the news desk at BBS.
News coming our way also indicates that BBS TV was able to court a one Michael, said to be an extremely experienced cameraman; still from NTV Uganda.
Well, after NTV, BBS TV took a stroll to Dembe FM and KFM- both sister companies to NTV, and they managed to convince the news editor, Hadija Mwanje, to join them. Hadija started work immediately.
However, things have not been all rosy for Hadija at her new work place; Hadija, who happens to be a staunch Muslim, was not impressed that the nearest mosque at her new workstation neighbours an extremely busy pork joint.
