NRM Members of Parliament have welcomed the meeting between president Yoweri Museveni and former Premier Amama Mbabazi.
President Museveni is said to have met Mbabazi for the first time since Mbabazi was sacked on Saturday at State House Nakasero in a closed door meeting.
Kyamuswa County representative Tim Lwanga and his Kween County counterpart Abdi Chemaswet are hopeful that this will reduce the current animosity between the two leaders.
Amama Mbabazi was recently sacked and replaced by Dr Ruhakana Rugunda making him the shortest serving Prime minister having held that position since 2011.
