NRM MPs receive billions to clear debts

Billions of shillings have been paid out to NRM Members of Parliament to clear their debts.

According to the Shadow Minister for Youth, Bernard Atiku, several legislators have been approaching the Government chief whip’s office to pick over 100 million each.

Atiku says this is suspicious because the source of money is unknown and could have been swindled from taxpayers’ money.

However, NRM caucus spokesperson, Evelyn Anite disputes this and wants the MP to prove his claims.
