No student hurt after King’s college Budo fire

The police deputy director Fire and Rescue Services Hassan Kihanda has said that no student has been hurt in the fire that razed Grace Dormitory at Kings College Budo this morning.

Kihanda who was the commander for the response team at the scene says they have managed to completely put out the fire and that all students are safe although, a lot of property was destroyed.

Kihanda adds that the fire has destroyed three sections of the dormitory which was housing senior five, three and ones save for the senior six section.

He says investigations into what actually caused the fire have commenced and will soon inform the public about the extent of damage.
