No plan to block Mbabazi, NRM
Former Premier Amama Mbabazi
The NRM secretariat has denied claims of hatching plans to block former Premier Amama Mbabazi from attending the forthcoming delegate’s conference.
The Acting Party Secretary General in charge of mobilization Richard Todwong says all accredited party members including Mbabazi will be allowed to attend the conference and make contributions to the constitutional amendments.
Todwong however says the secretariat has received complaints of some unscrupulous people sending SMSes to party members, mobilizing them for the conference.
He says security agencies have been notified and appropriate action is being undertaken to avoid chaos at Namboole stadium.
