The mini-skirt law is catching up with its enforcers.
Female police officers that wear make- up and mini- skirts are in big trouble.
The deputy Inspector General of Police Martin Okoth Ochola says serious disciplinary action is to be taken against female officers who go against the set guidelines.
This follows concerns raised by MPs on the committee of defense and internal affairs that police men had right to do dress however they want.
Ochola has told the committee that the guide lines for the police women not to wear miniskirts and lip stick and for police men not have mustaches is not new as reported in the media, but it has been part of the police standing orders.
Ochola says the police force is ready to implement orders to the latter as long as they are meant for the promotion of discipline.
