No Candidate Has Shunned Presidential Debate, IRCU

Reporter | January 13, 2016

The Inter-Religious Council maintains that it has not received any communication from any candidate about not taking part in the presidential debate.
The chairman organizing committee and former Principal Judge Justice James Ogoola says the debate will go on as planned and that they have also invited members of the academia.

Justice Ogoola has told a news conference that they expect over 1000 people to attend the event.
The council has organized two debates with the first scheduled for the 15th January, while the second one will be held on 10th February to give chance to those who will have missed the first one.
