The opposition says it is not looking forward to meeting President Yoweri Museveni this afternoon.
According to a statement from the clerk to parliament to legislators, the meeting is to give opportunity to members to interact with the president regarding the current security situation in the country.
The meeting which had been scheduled for yesterday was pushed to today and will take place at the Office of the President.
However, the Opposition Chief Whip Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda tells KFM that nothing new is expected from the meeting and so he is not mobilizing anyone from the opposition to attend.
The president last week addressed parliament highlighting key security measures government intends to take to address issues of insecurity in the country.
