The NRM Deputy Secretary General has promise that the ruling party will push for the renovation of the Masindi hospital.
Richard Todwong was this morning leading a team of NRM supporters in a general cleanup of the hospital ahead of the 31st NRM party anniversary scheduled for tomorrow at Masindi Golf Course.
His comments came after the Masindi hospital medical superintendent Dr.George Bateganya complained of lack of space for patients and inadequate staffing for the hospital which was built in 1926.
Dr. Bateganya said that Masindi hospital had been lined up among the seven hospitals to be renovated in phase one but it has never been considered.
Todwong now says the NRM party leadership will push government to consider renovating Masindi hospital in appreciation to the residents for their contribution during the NRA struggle that brought the NRM to into power.
