The government has been challenged to put in place a Museum in honour of the late Ignatius Musaazi.
The call was made on Wednesday by Makerere University Don Dr Kayunga Simba at the IK Musaazi memorial lecture at Makerere last evening.
Dr Simba said the late Musaazi played a very critical role not only in the country’s independence but also the labor movement in the country.
He proposes that the house where the late Musaazi lived before he died should be turned into a museum and have all his artifacts for Ugandans to learn more about him.
The IK Musaazi Memorial Lecture was one of the activities to mark the International Cooperatives Day that is to be commemorated on Saturday July 7th in Jinja, under the theme; “sustainable consumption and production of goods and services” President Museveni is expected to grace the event.
