Makerere university management has rushed to renovating Mary Stuart hall of female residence after it caught fire towards the end of last semester.
This is after the outcry from the guild council with worries that the university is soon opening for the fourth coming new academic yea 2018/2019 without any
Now according to the vice chancellor Prof Barnabas Nawangwe’s twitter account, says that the renovation is under way asserting that workers have assured him that works will be complete before opening of new semester.
Prof Nawangwe earlier told KFM that the university needed over Shs 300 million to renovate the hall.
