The minister of state for Kampala Benny Namugwanya has rejuvenated the call to eliminate politicians from the affairs of running Kampala, if revenues collected from the city are to rise.
While appearing before the parliamentary committee on Presidential Affairs Namugwanya said that revenue collection in Kampala is highly politicized causing a great loss to the authority.
This call come when the authority is stack with a debt 217 meant infrastructure development this financial year.
According to Namugwanya, the task of collecting revenue must be highly respected and no politicians should inter-fear.
