As students in public universities report for the new academic year, the management of Kyambogo University is weighing options of extending the semester.
Students have already lost two weeks due the strike by Non-teaching staff over salary increment which was suspended last Saturday.
The University Vice chancellor Prof Elly Katunguka says the university council will have to sit with the students and top management to discuss ways of covering the lost time.
Katunguka says the university’s graduation scheduled for December could be extended to January 2016.
