Government has given out 161 Motors cycles worth 1.5 billion shillings to facilitate local government departments at the grass root level to Monitor Youth and women livelihood programs across the country.
The State minister for Youth and children’s affairs Nakiwala Kiyingi says the people who have been monitoring the livelihood funds have been findings problems to monitor the programs in terms of transport.
She says all the districts across the country have received a motor cycle which will be used by the focal point parsons in placed at the district to monitor the program.
She also asked government to increase on the money being a located to run the program.
Last year reports indicated that most of the Youth who were receiving the livelihood funds, most of the district officials, were failing to recover the funds
