By Benjamin Jumbe:
The government chief whip Ruth Nankabirwa has scoffed at the opposition’s plans to frustrate amendment of article 102b of the constitution.
This comes as the opposition starts the “Togikwatako week” in which various activities have been lined up all aimed at failing the lifting of the age limit.
Now Nankabirwa says all actions by the opposition are merely for accountability to those funding their campaigns
She argues that laws are made within and not outside parliament challenging opposition legislators to be ready to battle it out on the floor.
