The president of the opposition forum for democratic change Patrick Amuriat has vowed to continue with their nationwide consultation meetings despite arrests by police.
Yesterday, Amuriat and former party president Dr Kiiza Besigye were bundled out of local radio station in Jinja where they were about to be hosted on a talk show.
Earlier on Wednesday, Amuriat and other party leaders were arrested and blocked from holding a rally in Tororo district with police saying they had not sought clearance for the meeting.
Speaking to kfm, Amuriat says the struggle continues and no amount of intimidation by police will stop them from consulting Ugandans ahead of the 2021 elections.
