Government has been asked to take extra care before committing money in huge ventures that were proposed many years ago.
This comes at a time when Uganda is still pushing for a standard gauge railway and Uganda airline yet Kenya posted a 100 million dollar loss from its railway transport that connects Nairobi to Mombasa.
Speaking to kfm, Dr Fred Muhumuza a renowned economic analyst says that ventures like Uganda airline was proposed many years back, but government is still depending on the same to resurrect the national carrier.
He adds that even though the Uganda airline will bring back Uganda’s pride, it might not be economically viable.
