Rubanda East MP Henry Musasizi has asked the Public to trust the parliamentary Committee on Finance, regarding the newly introduced Bill on Mobile Money.
The government on Thursday introduced the bill which proposes a 0.5% tax levy on Mobile Money withdraw transactions, replacing the one percent in the original Act.
Speaking to K-FM, the lawmaker who chaired the Committee in the past two sessions of Parliament says that he is certain he will chair the third session as well.
He also says that the delay to have the committee in place is not a big deal.
