Ugandans have been urged to look to Jesus Christ for joy peace and strength even during times of distress and hopelessness.
The message comes from the Bishop of Namirembe diocese Rt Rev Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira as Christians wait to join the rest of the world to celebrate Christmas.
Delivering his Christmas and New Year message at Namirembe, Bishop Luwalira said all human effort to restore peace, joy and harmony are temporary with only Jesus able to give lasting joy and peace.
Bishop Luwalira has decried the continued cases of domestic violence, theft and corruption, loss of life and insecurity in some areas of the country and impunity of the so called investors.
He says only God will help the country and Ugandans deal with all social injustices.
