The former FDC president Dr.Kiiza Besigye has ruled out the use of violence to achieve regime change.
Besigye has told his supporters that use of violence to oust the NRM government will keep power in the hands of the violent.
Speaking during his marathon rallies in Serere, Ngora, Kumi and Bukedea districts, Besigye asked Ugandans to do everything possible to regain their confidence and owners their country.
Besigye also decried what he called high level of intimidation which has left most opposition members unable to even flash their party signs because of reprisals from the state, a claim government has often denied.
Meanwhile hundreds of FDC delegates coverage at Jokas hotel this evening ahead of tomorrow’s election party leaders.
