The new police spokesperson Assan Kasingye says he has started receiving death threats from unknown people.

The revelation comes barely a month after former police spokesperson Andrew Felix Kaweesi was gunned down by unknown assailants after receiving similar threats.

Addressing the media this morning today Kasingye said that he is receiving threatening calls and text messages from a man he has identified as a one John Kagimu.

He says the police have embarked on a vigorous search for this suspected criminal whose motive is still unclear.
