Kyambogo university former vice chancellor Isaiah Omolo Ndiege has been asked to respect the council decision and leave office.
The appeal is made by the vice chairperson of parliament’s education committee Jacob Opolot following reports that Prof Ndiege had refused to leave after his contract expired on January 12th.
Last week Prof Ndiege was reported to have said the time given to him to prepare was not adequate.
Speaking to Kfm Opolot said although Prof Ndiege may have some concerns, he should in the meantime leave office to allow the council to address them.
