The Uganda National Drugs Authority has introduced sugar coated pills for patients who are on Anti Retroviral Treatment.
The authority recently recalled 60,000 units of bitter Aids pills worth over Sh.800m for destruction following complaints from patients.
These pills are said to have made many patients to skip their daily dozes, thus affecting the treatment patterns.
The NDA public relations of officer Fred Sekyana says these pills have already been supplied in all government health facilities.
