The national council for higher education is awaiting guidance from the Ministry of Education on reopening of tertiary institutions across the country.

President Museveni last week okayed Tertiary institutions to reopen in November.

Speaking to KFM, the spokesperson of the National council for higher education Saul Waigolo says that the ministry of education has not yet released timetables to guide on which semester or academic year Universities are reopening.

He says that until then, the Council will then come out and guide reopening of these institutions and guide on what should be put in place before reopening.

Waigolo asked these institutions and students above 18 years to continue with the Covid-19 vaccinations to ensure that a big number of them are vaccinated by November.
