The Uganda National boxing team is set to represent the country at the Eindonem boxing cup in Netherlands.

While flagging off the team at Elgon Youth Boxing Club Mbale office, the President Uganda Boxing Federation, Kenneth Gimugu faulted government for failing to facilitate sports in the country.

According to Gimugu, the team will leave the country for Netherlands on May 13th and later head to Sweden on May 16th for two weeks where they will join other boxing clubs.

He adds that from June 7th to 20th the team will proceed to Baku for the World Olympic qualifier.

Notable among the players is Fazil Juma, Sula Segawa and Willy Kyakonye
