Mukono Municipality Mp Betty Nambooze has expressed concern over what she calls the failure by her fellow law makers to appreciate the benefits of her proposed “Alcoholic Drinks Control Bill 2016.”
The bill seeks to harmonise all alcohol related laws into only one so as to slap tougher sanctions on alcohol consumption and abuse.
Nambooze says she is disappointed by Rubaga North MP Moses Kasibante who maintains that the no new law or regulations should be made on alcohol consumption.
