Former Nalufenya torture victims led by the former Buyende District Police commander Muhammad Kirumira and two others; Maj Musisi Galabuzi and Grace Bukenya have stormed the Uganda Human Rights commission offices seeking for audience to air their grievances.
The trio complained to the commission that ever since they were released, they have not had their cases handled and the court cases have since delayed.
Grace Bukenya advised the commission to stop doing planned visits to prisons and other detention centers alleging that those who are badly tortured are always taken into hiding when the commission visits thus they do not capture the rot and those tortured in detention.
They trio have cried out the for protection of torture victims and for justice to prevail.
However the commission chairperson Meddy Kaggwa has advised them to lodge a formal complaint with them so that they can look into the allegations made and their grievances.
