An accident that occurred last night at Kyankonwa in Nakasongola District along Kampala- Gulu highway has claimed three lives and left three others injured.
According to Isah Semwogerere, the Savannah region police spokesperson, the fatal accident involved motor vehicles UAZ 264S a harrier white in colour and a UBE 153L mahindra white in color.
Its alleged that the harrier which was coming from Nakasongola and heading to Kampala collided head on with a vehicle heading to Nakasongola.
The deceased include Singh Manpreet Singh, 39, Surrinder, 37 yrs and Aziz Onach, 38.
The injured victims have been taken to Nakasongola health centre iv for management and the bodies of the deceased have been taken to Nakasongola health center iv for postmortem.
