Nairobi Grass needs a Miracle
The Nairobi City County has spent the equivalent of over 1.2bn Uganda shillings to beautify Nairobi in preparations for US president Barack Obama.
However, the grass intended to impress the most powerful leader in the world may be a let-down to the Nairobi county governor as it is showing signs of sprouting.
City residents have faulted Governor Evans Kidero on the apparent failed project, terming it a misuse of funds.
Others have made endless jokes about the project, even suggesting use of miracle performers to help grow the stubborn grass before Obama arrives.
Some urged City Hall to request Obama to use green tinted glass to have a view of the non-existent grass.
