President Museveni has mourned the fallen president of Zambia Micheal Sata.
Michael Sata died at the age of 77 after receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness, in the UK for the past week.
President Museveni said Ugandans will stand with the people of Zambia at this sad moment.
Meanwhile, Zambian Vice-President Guy Scott has been named acting leader following the death of President Michael Sata.
Defence Minister Edgar Lungu said Presidential elections to choose a permanent successor will be held within 90 days.
Mr Scott becomes Africa’s first white head of state since FW de Klerk in apartheid South Africa.
