Police is heavily deployed in Mbale district ahead of the Imbalu circumcision celebrations to be held at the Mutoto cultural grounds tomorrow.
High profile dignitaries including President Yoweri Museveni and his Kenyan counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta are expected to witness this cultural celebration.
The Mbale District Police Commander Matthias Turyasingura says dozens of its officers both uniformed and non-uniformed have been deployed to ensure security of all people and property.
He howeverwarns revelers against carrying expensive gadgets and huge sums of money.
Participants in this special cultural event are drawn from the districts of Manafwa, Bulambuli, Sironko, Mbale, Bududa and Namisindwa, while othersare from the Kenyan side.
