Students at the Paramedical School Mulago are on strike.
The students are protesting against reported poor feeding and poor standards of accommodation.
They began by rejecting the porridge prepared for them this morning, saying it was not fit for consumption.
They also say their hostels are too congested, with some students sleeping in the floor.
The students have also complained about the status of their library, which they say does not offer much.
The police have been deployed at the scene and is keeping the students in control
