The health committee of parliament has thrown out the Mulago hospital director Dr Byarugaba Baterana.
This was after the hospital management showed up without the hospital administrator Alison Kantarama whom the committee members had several concerns about.
Mps were concerned about the high utility bills at the hospital with the water arrears now accumulated to 4.7 bn.
Committee chairperson Dr Kenneth Omona says unless these issues are addressed the committee will not pass the hospitals budget with the ministry of health expected back before the committee next week with the hospital administrator
