Mulago children’s ward has finally got some water.
This is after close to two weeks of an acute water shortage that had led to an outbreak of diarrhea at the ward run by cosmetics company Mwanamugimu.
A short while ago we spoke to Hanifa Namusoke a nurse who is optimistic that the situation will be under control as water trucks have started coming in.
Health minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda has visited the hospital as well and said that government was doing everything possible address the crisis.
