Makerere University has suspended controversial research fellow Dr. Stella Nyanzi for stripping.
This has been confirmed by the University Vice Chancellor Prof Ddumba Ssentamu.
He says the decision has been taken by the Appointments Board in consideration of a report from the ad hoc committee set up to investigate circumstances surrounding her nude protest.
Ddumba says the board has also resolved to set up another committee to carry out in depth investigation into the matters at the Makerere University Institute of Social Research.
He says the committee commences work on Monday, 25th of April 2016 and expected to report back in 25 days.
