MTN injects Shs 16bn into rural communication

The Uganda Communications Commission has received 16 billion shillings to boost rural communication.

MTN –Uganda, one of the telecom players in the country has handed over the money to the Uganda communication commission as its annual 2% mandatory contribution to the growth of the sector.

The executive Director Uganda communication commission Godfrey Mutabazi says the money is be used for purchase of computers for rural schools.
