Farmers have been urged to take on smart farming if they are to effectively tackle the growing challenges of climate change.
Addressing a news conference at the Monitor Publications Limited (MPL)office, ahead of the 7th Seeds of Gold Farm Clinic on Wednesday afternoon, the MPL Managing Director Mr.Tony Glencross has underscored the need for smart farming in Uganda today.
He has also re-sounded a call to farmers to always seek technical knowledge on modern farming techniques.
The 7th Seeds of Gold Farm Clinic slated for 26th of August at Makerere University Agricultural Research Institute – Kabanyoro is organized by MPL in partnership with Heifer International, Uganda Coffee Development Authority, aBi Trust and Post Bank Uganda.
