HIV/AIDs rights activists have expressed concern over the growing number of new infections in Uganda.
While addressing journalists in Kampala today, the technical director at Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda, Brian Bagyenda notes that incidences of HIV/AIDS are high among the young people, yet they lack access to reproductive health methods.
Bagyenda says while government is applauded for promoting the ABC strategy, promotion of condoms is still low in communities hence need for more efforts.
He says health practitioners should encourage girls and women to access these contraceptives to avoid HV/AIDS.
The society is partnering with La Bonamour Ltd to deliver condoms to communities free of charge.
