The Minister of education, Janet Museveni has said that preparations for the reopening of schools next year are in high gear.
According to the statement that was delivered on her behalf by the state minister for higher education, John Chrysostom Muyingo indicates that inspection has been done to establish the readiness of our schools and institutions.
Ms Museveni says that teachers are being trained and the Ministry now plans to rehabilitate dilapidated structures in various schools and institutions.
The schools are scheduled to reopen next year in January on 10th according to Muyingo.
Ms Museveni will tomorrow announce the schools’ calendar and reopening plans.
President Museveni in one of his addresses to the nation announced a full re-opening of the economy including schools and institutions in January 2022.
