Buganda Kingdom is calling on the Uganda Red Cross to assist in preparations ahead of the Kabaka’s visit to Bugerere County in Kayunga district.
The kingdom spokesman Denis Walusimbi says they expect thousands of people who need assistance in various ways.
He says more medical personnel are needed to offer first aid to those who may sustain injuries.
The much anticipated three-day visit by Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II is slated for January 27th.
Meanwhile the police have given assurance on security with hundreds of both covert and non-covert personnel already deployed.
