Construction of an airfield in Mengo is still on hold.
The Buganda kingdom has since 2003 been in talks with Civil Aviation Authority to locate land to build an airfield.
The Minister for Works and Transport, Eng. Abraham Byandala however says negotiations on the construction of the airfield have been delayed due to slight disagreements on its commencement.
Byandala says the government will give the go ahead once there is consensus on the matter.
