Politicians have been asked to always go for routine medical checkups to minimize on sudden deaths.

The call followed the brupt death of Hon Stanly Omonya, who succumbed to cardiac arrest.

According to the government chief whip Ruth Nankabirwa, many people do not get time to go for medical checkups that has resulted into a rise in non-communicable diseases.
