Independent Presidential candidate Amama Mbabazi has promised to pay all pensioners in his first 100 days in office.
Addressing a rally in Kabwohe town council Sheema district Mbabazi has promised to compensate the over 30 Muslim families in Kiziba village who lost their members and property during the war in 1979.
Earlier, his rival President Yoweri Museveni while canvassing for votes in the same area said Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda and the Solicitor General would look into their claims and ensure they are all paid.
Meanwhile, while campaigning in Igara West at Kyabugimbi Secondary School in Bushenyi district, Mbabazi has also promised to start construction of a government hospital in the district in the first 100 days of his office.
Currently Bushenyi residents rely on privately owned Kampala International University Teaching Hospital and Ishaka Adventist Hospital.
