A 61-year-old woman has survived the brutal grim of death after being attacked by machete-wielding assailants in Kyango-Kazo Cell, Kyotera District.

According to our report Gertrude Lillian, the assailants cut off the right arm of the old woman identified as Maria Goreth Nakyanzi last evening as she was entering her house.

She adds that early in the morning, the assailants dropped letters threatening to murder the residents.

Police managed to reach the scene of the crime on time but no one has been arrested.

Meanwhile, Nakyanzi is currently admitted at Kyotera Medical center where she is nursing wounds.
